Getting Here

The venue for NA-PAC'13 is the Convention Center in Pasadena, California, which is a northeast suburb of Los Angeles. The tabs at your left give more information on air travel to the area, ground travel once you're there, and additional helpful tips for international delegates. Here is a summary.

Air: Almost all international and some domestic travelers would fly into Los Angeles International (LAX). For domestic flights, the much closer Burbank Bob Hope Airport (BUR) should also be considered. The Long Beach airport, slightly further away than LAX, has direct and connecting flights that some delegates will find attractive.

Ground: Many delegates will find that the best balance of cost and convenience is a door-to-door shuttle service. From LAX, there is also a decent public-transit option involving an airport-connector bus and a train. Taxis, and rental cars from the usual agencies, are available at both airports.

Hotels: NA-PAC'13 will offer special conference rates at three hotels. The Sheraton Pasadena at 303 Cordova Street and the Pasadena Hilton at 168 South Los Robles Avenue are in the immediate vicinity of the Convention Center. Within a few blocks is the Old Pasadena Inn at 400 South Arroyo Parkway, a value choice for the budget-conscious.
